Few pretend-macros on my 50mm from today’s beach outing.
~Yes, that’s a torn page of Qur’an. People who believe in performing magic with it and things of that kind – you can find the whole book scattered in pieces across the shore, the cover included. Sometimes even several.
And rained, and rained, and rained. Until there was water everywhere. That, of course, was a good opportunity to take my Pentax for a walk – or rather a drive. After the first flash flood happened, we were quite worried about our building out in the south so we set out on a short trip to check it out, giving me an ample time to snap the camera and my 77 around (and enjoy the sound of rain. I have missed it dearly. Oh, the rain.)
Just a bunch of family portraits, since that’s pretty much what I do — “Picture me,” as M. says.

It turns out that photography in motion isn’t easy, less so when you’re pretty shortsighted with an optician visit pending for the past few years; but as it (also) comes out, not all blur is equal and some snaps actually acquire a bit of charm that they would otherwise lack.
