Many people keep on telling me one iteresting thing - that I betrayed my nation and my nationality by marrying an Arab.

The question is: What does betrayal of nation have in common with my personal life?

The answer is: Nothing. It’s just nonsense.

Most of the people telling me this awesome and indubitable truth are strange personalities altogether either jealous of me living abroad or … being laid down by an exotic man. (Eventually of the man having a Czech girl while they can’t get in imaginative panties of a goat on their neighbour’s rear yard.)

I have to admit, that it’s hard to generalize and I myself suppose it as a sin against common logic, but an amazing number of people I know or come in contact with have a lot of in common with each other. In one certain point we all know it is being totally anxious about any foreigners on their territory - and it doesn’t matter if it’s their real street where just a Sudanese family moved in and they can’t get over the colour of skin and different language; or territory in sense of “taking their women away” (although we all agree that there’s no right to claim a woman just by the accident of being born in same country as that stupid claiming mule did).

It makes me somewhat sad, though. I like to keep in touch with people I knew but the number of them went radically down - since ever they noticed that there’s something “wrong” with my husband. They don’t care about my actual happiness, yet they care a lot about his skin colour and spoken language.

If you don’t like the fact I married a man from different country, say it. Say it: “I don’t like the fact you married a foreigner.” You know it sounds stupid and you know it will show your real mind, but that’s what the life is about. We all are different in our minds and you are different to - by wanting not to be different (or wanting it just for the women part of your country, so the competition will be easier, ain’t I right?).

Don’t tell me though that I betrayed my nation. I didn’t betray anybody and my personal life definitely doesn’t affect a run of Czech Republic; ohh I wish it did - I would have a lot of fun.
